Abstract submission deadline: Monday, June 2, 2025, at 23:59 CST (Mexico City time).
Abstract Notifications: Notifications regarding acceptance, type of presentation, and placement in the program will be sent during the first week of July.
Rules and Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Please read the submission rules and guidelines carefully before submitting an abstract.
Abstracts must be submitted online only through the official website.
ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
Language: All abstracts must be submitted and presented in Spanish or Portuguese, with accurate grammar and spelling suitable for publication.
Type of Presentation
Abstracts can be submitted for:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation
Note:
All presentation types are intended to be delivered in person in Mérida. Virtual presentations are not available. If your abstract is selected for oral presentation and neither you nor any of your co-authors can attend in Mérida, your abstract will be published, but the presentation slot will be reassigned to another abstract.
The Scientific Committee will determine acceptance and the type of presentation (oral or poster), considering the author's preference. The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.
Authors may submit as many abstracts as desired.
Presenting authors must be registered participants at the congress. The email used for the presenting author during abstract submission must match the email used during registration. If travel and registration fees are covered by someone else (sponsor), please include their email address in the registration form.
Only abstracts from authors who have paid registration fees by the indicated deadline in the notification email will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication.
Submitting an abstract implies acceptance of publication in all official Congress publications as deemed appropriate by the Scientific Committee, including, but not limited to, digital publications on the website and congress app, and printed materials for delegates onsite.
Abstracts from the Congress will also be published as an abstract book in the LatinAmerican Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (LAJPGHN).
It is the responsibility of the main author to ensure all co-authors are aware of and approve the abstract content before submission.
Additional information will be sent to authors in due time.
Please note:
Only the identified presenting author will receive notifications regarding abstract submission and subsequent communications related to the meeting.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure:
Authors submitting abstracts must disclose any conflicts of interest in the submission form.

Before beginning, please prepare the following information:
- Contact information of presenting author (full first and last name)
- Email address
- Affiliation details: department, institution/hospital, city, country
- Telephone number
- Co-authors' details (full names and affiliations)
Preferred Presentation Type:
- Oral presentation
- Poster presentation
Abstract Title:
Must be in UPPERCASE and limited to 25 words. Submit symbols as words (e.g., dollars instead of $).
Abstract Text:
Limited to 300 words, including acknowledgments. (Note: The abstract should not include graphs or figures.)
Abstract Topic:
Select the abstract topic from the provided list.
Abstract Body:
The abstract should be structured into the following sections as indicated in the template:
- Aims and study
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
